About Dr. Satish

A surgeon shaped by three continents

Dr. Satish Reddy Gandavarapu trained at some of the world's most respected orthopaedic institutions, the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute in Bologna, the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham, and Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide, before returning to build a subspecialty practice in Hyderabad that has changed outcomes for hundreds of patients.

He founded Prime Hospitals, which later became Aster Prime Hospital, attracted private equity, and exited by selling his stake to the Aster Group in 2022. Today he brings that same ambition to his clinical practice at KIMS Hospital, Ministers Road, Secunderabad.
